A superb George I burr walnut bureau bookcase retaining excellent colour and patina. The top section reveals an arrangement of adjustable shelves. Single door flanked by 2 pillars, bevelled mirror plate and candle stick. The fall of the buraeu opens to reveal an arrangement of pigeon holes and a central cupboard. The writing surface is covered by green leather with a very charming patina. The desk has two short over three lang graduated drawers, all of which are feather-banded and oak lined. The whole is raised on bracked feet.
